By the shore at Ängholma Bed & Breakfast you can start the day with an early morning plunge and end it with an evening swim. For fishing after the old pike in the Vierydsfjord our rowing boat is available and for those who enjoy sailing, we have a windsurfing board.

  • You are most welcome to hire our Canadian canoe and paddle out from Ängholma and discover the surroundings – 100 SEK per day.

  • For those of you who like a relaxing and refreshing sauna, you are most welcome to hire our wood fire Sauna directly by the sea – 200 SEK each time.

Our younger guests can jump on our trampoline, pet with our animals or challenge their parents in croquet, boule and kubb.
We hope that the peacefulness at Ängholma Bed & Breakfast can give those who wish, the inspiration needed for writing or painting.
Being in the middle of Blekinge, there are plenty of choices in the vicinity for excursions.

  • Some gravefields, churches and ancient ruins - Here you can read more about ancient relics in the vicinity of Ängholma.

  • Stone-bridge of Vieryd – stroll down to Vieryd and see the old stone-bridge, crossing Vierydsån.

  • The school museum of Risanäs - Experience the school of the old days - visit in the oldest school in Ronneby, teaching started in 1854.

  • Ronneby – Visit the town with it’s medieval ancestry; also called the heart of Sweden’s Garden. The town and its surroundings have several well-known relics from the past.
    Ronneby brunnspark – Experience the park, which dates back to the 18th century. The park won the honour of being named Sweden’s most beautiful park in year 2005. Look at the old wooden buildings and enjoy the greenery.
  • Karön – The biggest island in Ronneby archipelago with wooden houses with decorative carvings and a archipelago-style restaurant..
  • Ebbamåla bruk - Here you can experience old swedish engineering industry and for example try to cast iron during a IRON NIGHT.

  • For those of you who love fragrant flowers and wonderful gardens we recommend a visit in Blomstergården in Eringsboda, where one of Swedens most attractive gardens, with rippling streams and rushing waterfalls, is located.
  • Barnens Gård - Fun for the whole family in a whirling waterland and a big playground. Cuddle with goats, hens, rabbits and pigs, even help feeding them.
  • Väggabadet in Karlshamn – for those who like to take a swim in an outdoor or indoor pool

  • Golf clubs/ Golf coursesFor a long golf season, Blekinge is the choice! You are welcome to play on courses of great natural beauty. Here you can find e.g. Carlskrona (one of the oldest in Sweden), Ronneby, Karlshamn, Leråkra, Niklastorp, Sölvesborg, Olofström and Trummenäs Golf clubs.

  • Känslans Verkstad „Emotional Workshop“ – within biking distance from Ängholma – The biggest and funniest ceramic workshop in Sweden
  • Eriksberg – Unique nature reserve in Blekinge archipelago where you can see fallow deer, red deer, wild boar, mufflon-sheep and European bison in their natural habitats.

  • Tjärö - An idyllic spot in the archipelago of Blekinge and the island is a nature reserve since 1976. Here you find swimming-places, lodging, a guest-harbour and a restaurant. Here you can take part in sailing courses, both as child and adult, or take a course in painting.

  • Karlshamn – Summer city with Baltic Sea Festival as the high-light in July. Many small shops and a city centre with pedestrian streets. In the middle of Karlshamn you also find a prize awarded playground. Year around young and old can stroll along Mörrumsån in Mörrum. From April-September fishermen stand alongside the shore, and if you’re lucky you’ll see their struggle to catch a salmon or a sea trout. Between April and October Laxens Hus is open. Visit the Citadel during the summer, where Teatersmedjan has outdoor theatre for the whole family during July.
  • Karlskrona – An UNESCO world heritage on 33 islands, where boats are a natural means of transport in a very beautiful archipelago.
    Big sailing-ships anchor Karlskrona. For you who love the sea and boats, it is definitely worth seeing!
    In this old naval city, and capital of Blekinge, you can visit Kungsholm’s fortress with its circular harbour, Drottningskär’s citadel, the old shipyard, the Naval museum on Stumholmen, Brändaholm’s allotment/garden-area and Skärfva country estate.
  • Räntemåla FarmFor you who are interested in Swedish natural wildlife. Visit the elks!

  • Astrid Lindgrens Värld - Approx. 220 km from Ängholma you'll find Pippi Longstocking, Emil, Ronja, Karlsson on the Roof and others.

  • Island Hanö - a beautiful place to visit. You reach the island with ferry from Nogersund on Listerlandet in western Blekinge.
